Nut schnapps

Ingredients:

1 liter of spirits (from the pharmacy)

1/2 kg green nuts

2 - 3 peels of lemons

1/2 kg sugar

3/4 liter of water

20 cloves


Gloves

large glass jar

Pot

fine sieve

bottles


Preparation:

The green nuts should be collected by June 20th at the latest and are then chopped up or pierced. You should wear gloves when doing this as they stain intensively. Now put it in a large glass jar and pour the spirit of wine over it. Add the zest of 2 to 3 lemons and then close the glass jar with a cloth. Leave the container in a warm, sunny place for 5 weeks. Stir or shake daily.


After 5 weeks, the sugar is placed in a pot with the cloves and water and brought to the boil. Remove the resulting foam and allow the solution to cool.


Now strain the alcohol from the nuts through a fine sieve and mix the mixture with the sugar solution. Now fill it into bottles and close tightly. Don't forget the label. Let the bottles of nut schnapps rest for a while and then use them like medicine.


Attention: Alcohol is not for children, young people, pregnant women and drivers!!!
