Collection time:

June to August


To find:

Rarely grows in moist locations up to 1000 m altitude.


Ingredients:

Galegin, alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, bitter substances, guanidine derivatives, galuteolin, sugar, fats


Miscellaneous:

☕ Tea: Scald 1 teaspoon of herb with 1/4 liter of boiling water and let it steep for 10 minutes. Drink 3 cups daily.


The goat's rue serves as a protective herb and abode of the plant spirits for internal and external purification. Smoking with goat's rue is also effective for protection and cleansing from unfavorable influences.


Goat's Rue should not be used alone, but always mixed with similar plants (e.g. nettle, dandelion, daisies and so on).


Sheep can be poisoned by goat's rue!
