Ingredients:
2 handfuls of sunflower seeds
½ liter of white wine
Pot
Linen cloth, diaper or kitchen towel
Bottle with cork
Preparation:
Chop the sunflower seeds including the shell and put them in a pot. Then add the white wine over it and bring to the boil. Then let it simmer on a low heat for about 10 minutes; the liquid should reduce significantly. After 10 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down.
When it has cooled, strain it through a linen cloth, diaper or kitchen towel and pour it into a bottle. Don’t forget to label it with your name and date.
Store in a cool place as it will last for a maximum of 3 months.
Application:
The sunflower seed wine is taken internally by the spoonful or liqueur glass.
