Ingredients:
2 handfuls of spruce shoots
1/2 liter of water
1/2 kg brown sugar
Pots
Linen cloth
Bottles
Preparation:
Put the spruce shoots in a pot and pour the water over them. Then bring to the boil and let it steep for half an hour. Then strain through a linen cloth and collect the liquid in a pot.
Now mix the liquid well with the brown sugar and heat again until a thick syrup is formed. Fill into bottles and label with name (spruce syrup) and date.
