To find:
Sometimes found growing wild in saline, swampy places. The plant is not found in Central Europe (except in northern Germany by the sea). But can easily be planted in the garden.

Mustard oil glycoside, tannins, bitter substances, minerals, vitamins, especially lots of vitamin C
Other:
Scurvy-grass has white flowers and spoon-shaped leaves from the second year onwards. It belongs to the rosette plants and originally comes from Northern Europe.
In the kitchen it can be eaten in spring salads, in quark dishes, with eggs or with cheese.
Only the fresh plant is used.
