Clover blossom cream

Clover blossom cream

Ingredients:

Red clover flowers

cold pressed wheat germ or jojoba oil

2 teaspoons beeswax

1/2 teaspoon honey

big glass

fine sieve

Pot

Glass or porcelain vessel

Ointment jar

Preparation:

For the oil extract: Place 2/3 fresh flowers in the large glass and then pour cold-pressed wheat germ or jojoba oil over them. Now leave it in the sun for 3 weeks. After the specified time, it can be strained through a fine sieve and prepared for further processing.

To make a strong tea extract, put fresh or dried flowers in a pot and pour boiling water over them. Then let it stand for 10 minutes and strain again through a fine sieve and make it ready for further use.

Now place a wide-necked glass or porcelain vessel in a pot of hot water and add the beeswax and honey. Stir in a water bath until everything has melted and then add about 8 tablespoons of the clover oil. Stir well so that both liquids mix well. Finally, measure out 8 tablespoons of the strong tea infusion and add it step by step. Care should be taken to ensure that both liquids have the same temperature. When everything has been mixed well, the glass or porcelain container can be removed from the water bath and poured into ointment jars.

Stir continuously while it cools down to create a light, fluffy mixture. Don't forget to label with the date and name.

The clover blossom cream to rub on the skin, preferably on the face.
