Chili ointment

Chili ointment

Ingredients:

For the tincture:

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 liter of high-proof alcohol

For the oil extract:

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 liter of cold-pressed olive oil

For the ointment:

Tincture

Oil extract

50 g pure beeswax

Preparation:

For the tincture: Put the chili powder in a glass jar and pour the high-proof alcohol over it. Then leave it in the warmth for 14 days and shake it several times a day. After 2 weeks, the tincture can be filtered through a filter and poured into an brown glass bottle. Don't forget to label it with your name and date.

For the oil extract: Put the chili powder in a screw-top jar and pour the cold-pressed olive oil over it, let it stand for 2 weeks, shake daily and filter through a filter. Then pour into a glass jar and label with name and date.

For the ointment: Now heat the oil in a pot; it should be hot but not smoking. Add the beeswax to the pot and dissolve, stirring constantly. Once the wax has dissolved, remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool. Stir again and again and add the alcohol tincture drop by drop as long as the cream absorbs it.

Save the rest for further cream preparation; you can also season with the tincture. Pour into ointment containers and store in a cool place.
