Wormwood tincture

Ingredients:

1 part wormwood herb

5 parts diluted wine spirit or high-proof grain schnapps


screw-top jar

fine sieve, linen cloth or filter

Brown glass bottle with dropper


Preparation:

Cut the wormwood herb and put it in a screw-top jar. Then pour the diluted wine spirit or high-proof grain schnapps over the wormwood and let it stand for 10 days.


After the specified time, the whole thing can be strained through a fine sieve, linen cloth or filter and the tincture can be poured into brown glass bottles with a dropper. Don't forget to label it with your name and date.


Application:

The wormwood tincture is taken with 25 drops in a glass of water. The bitter taste is normal and cannot be removed with honey or sugar. But you get used to it.

For heartburn, stomach cramps, bad breath, feeling of fullness, coated tongue or as a first aid remedy. See also wormwood
