Woodland germander (Teucrium scorodonia)

To find:

The sage germander can sometimes be found in sparse mixed forests, on clearcuts, forest clearings or heathland areas. Is regionally protected.


Ingredients:

Anthraquinones (dyes), bitter substances, tannins, flavonoids, essential oils


Other:

☕ Tea: Mix 2 teaspoons of herb in 1/2 liter of cold water, leave to stand overnight (at least 8 hours), strain and drink in sips throughout the day. Tea made hot tastes very bitter. - Daily amount, you shouldn't drink more per day.


Hildegard von Bingen: The woodland germander is warm and fat, and when eaten or drunk it is of no use to humans or animals because it escapes mucus and scabies. It falls into the blood and reduces and dilutes it.
