Violet syrup

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh violet flowers (1 cup each)

1/4 liter of water

Honey


Pot

Bowl

fine sieve

Jar with screw lid


Preparation:

Place a cup of fresh violet flowers in a bowl and pour hot water over it. Now let it steep for 24 hours.


After 1 day, the flowers are strained through a fine sieve and the collected flower water is heated in a pot and poured again over the 2nd cup of violet flowers. Let stand again for 24 hours.


After the second day or another 24 hours, the flowers are strained through a fine sieve and the flower water is collected in a bowl. Now the flower water is mixed with enough honey to create a thick syrup. The whole thing can be poured into a jar with a screw lid and labeled with your name and date.


Application:

Use the violet syrup one tablespoon at a time to take internally.
