Sweet and sour pickled garlic

Ingredients:

200 g garlic cloves

150 g honey

200 ml wine vinegar

50 ml water

15 cloves

20 allspice grains

3 chili or 20 peppercorns

1 bay leaf

1 teaspoon marjoram

1 pinch of nutmeg

Preparation:

Put the honey, vinegar, water, the cloves, the allspice seeds, the chili or peppercorns, the bay leaf, the teaspoon of marjoram and the pinch of nutmeg in a pot and bring to the boil briefly. Then add the garlic cloves and bring to the boil again for about 3 minutes. Then pour everything into jars and close tightly. Don’t forget to label it with your name (sweet and sour pickled garlic) and date.
