The bracts of the star umbel form a halo and thus simulate a flower size that is not actually there. The plant's umbels are tiny. When it gets dark, the Astrantia bends its stems towards the earth. It protects their pollen from the cold. Its flowers are pink to white with palmate leaves.

You should avoid an overdose.
