St. John's wort tincture

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons dried St. John's wort

100 ml grain schnapps or fruit schnapps


Jar with screw cap

fine sieve, linen cloth or filter

Brown glass bottle


Preparation:

Pour the grain schnapps or fruit schnapps over the dried St. John's wort in a glass and let it stand at room temperature for 10 days. Move or shake every now and then. After 10 days, strain through a fine sieve, linen cloth or filter and pour into an brown glass bottle. Don’t forget to label the St. John's wort tincture with your name and date.


Application:

1 teaspoon after meals is digestive and helps with high blood pressure.

Inflammatory and nervous diseases, melancholic states, depression, overexertion, restlessness, dizziness, stroke, tremor of the limbs, nervous heart, stomach disorders, stomach, intestinal and abdominal cramps, flatulence, bedwetting, liver disorders and jaundice.


Caution! Do not take during pregnancy, tanning salon users, people who soak up a lot of sun! Anyone taking medication, including birth control pills, should consult their doctor beforehand to rule out interactions!
