Spignelsalt

Ingredients:

Bärwurz

sea-salt


Preparation:

Collect and dry the fine, dill-like herb before it flowers.

Then mix with two thirds of sea salt.


Application:

With this salt you do something for your health and it also captures the bitter, spicy taste of Bärwurz. In Scotland, for example, where the plant still grows in large quantities, the delicate herb is used like we use chives. You sprinkle it on bread, add it to soups, use it to make cream cheese and bake spiced bread with it. The fruits - dried - are a wonderful soup seasoning.
