Ingredients:
300 g marshmallow root
50 g fenugreek seeds
50g flax seeds
1 liter of water
glass or vessel
Pot
fine sieve
Ointment jar
Preparation:
Put the marshmallow root, fenugreek seeds and linseed in a glass and pour about 1 liter of water over it. Cover the jar and leave it at room temperature for 3 days.
Then pour the entire contents of the jar into a pot and cook until everything has become mushy. Of course, some water evaporates during this process. Now strain through a fine sieve and collect the mixture in a measuring cup.
Mix with the same amount of cold-pressed olive oil and put it back in a pot and let it simmer gently until the water has evaporated.
Mix the remaining oil with beeswax and some larch pitch or spruce resin and place it back on the stove so that the resins and wax dissolve. Stir until the ointment is cold again. Fill into ointment jars. The soothing marshmallow ointment for skin diseases is ready.
