Pickled onions for circulatory problems

Ingredients:

750 g onions (or garlic)

1/2 liter of white wine

100g sugar

some cloves

1 teaspoon rosemary

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon peppercorns

3 bay leaves

2 teaspoons salt

10 tablespoons vinegar

5 tablespoons cold pressed olive or sunflower oil


Preparation:

Peel or peel the onions or garlic. If using onions, cut into wedges. In a pot, let the cloves or wedges bubble up briefly in the white wine. Then add the sugar, cloves, rosemary, thyme, peppercorns, bay leaves, salt and vinegar and bring to the boil again briefly. Then remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down.


When the mixture has cooled, add the olive or sunflower oil and then pour it into a glass. Leave the jar in a cool, dark place for 1 month before using.


Application:

For circulatory problems, drink at least 3 cloves / 2 wedges of the pickled onions daily (depending on how big the onion was), drink the broth liqueur-wise.
