Peppermint liqueur

Ingredients:

5 large peppermint sprigs

a few leaves of lemon balm

10 coriander seeds

2 cloves

1/4 kg brown rock sugar

1 liter of strong grain schnapps or fruit brandy


large glass or vessel

Preparation:

In a large container, place the peppermint sprigs, a few lemon balm leaves, the coriander seeds, the cloves and the rock sugar. Then pour the strong grain schnapps or fruit brandy over it. Place the sealed container in a bright, warm place and leave it for 8 to 10 weeks, shaking often.


Filter through a filter over time. If the peppermint liqueur isn't sweet enough, simply add a little sugar syrup. It has a wonderful green color and smells captivating. Now fill it into bottles and don't forget to label it.


Attention: Alcohol is not for children, young people, pregnant women and drivers!!!
