🛑 Oregano oil should be avoided during pregnancy.

In the kitchen, oregano is known to many as a spice and should not be missing from any pizza. It is used less in German cuisine, but more in Italian, Spanish and Greek cuisine. It can also be used as a seasoning for herb butter or mixed with other herbs. It goes well in omelettes, Italian sauces, tomato dishes, lamb or vegetable casseroles. In addition to the leaves, the flowers can also be used to season and decorate. It can also be used to flavor liqueurs and spirits as well as cold soups or tea.

Women who want to improve their milk production should eat Dost on an empty stomach in the morning. This is good for them and the baby and brings a happy mood.

Oregano is often confused with marjoram. A big difference is the stronger taste of Oregano, which is due to the essential oil of the plant. At 4 percent, it is relatively high. The medicinal herb is used in the kitchen as a spice, with dark meat, sauces and in the production of sausages and pies. Not to be forgotten, marjoram is used instead of marjoram in all Italian dishes.

In a study, oregano (along with garlic and sage) was certified to have the best properties against bacteria and many of today's common environmental toxins. An oregano treatment helps the body eliminate toxins and strengthens the metabolism. It was also found that Dost, Oregano can be used instead of antibiotics to treat MRSA staphylococcal infections. MRSA staphylococci are multi-resistant bacteria that have already developed resistance to conventional antibiotics and therefore cause many thousands of deaths every year.

Oregano has been used as a seasoning for at least 300 to 400 years. The dried leaves are used. Apart from the ambiguous Roman sources, only one Basel recipe from the 17th century can be cited in which oregano is mentioned as an ingredient in pancakes. Otherwise, even at the beginning of the 20th century, botanical books only say that oregano is a medicinal and magical plant and that its red dye can be used to dye wool. (Wikipedia)

Hildegard von Bingen: Take galangal and a third of aloe and twice as much galangal, dost and peach leaves in the same weight as dost. Make a powder of these and use it daily after eating and on an empty stomach if your hearing is weak.
