Marshmallow Tincture


Marshmallow Tincture

Ingredients:

100 g powdered root

500 g vodka or grain schnapps at least 60%


Glass

Linen cloth or filter

Brown glass bottle


Preparation:

Put the powdered marshmallow root in a glass and pour vodka or Kornschnaps over it. Close the jar tightly and place in a warm place for 2 weeks. Keep moving the glass every now and then. After the 2 weeks, strain everything through a linen cloth or filter and pour into brown glass bottles. Don’t forget to label it with your name and date.


You can make a simple cough syrup from a few drops of marshmallow tincture by adding honey and water to the syrup in a pot
