Tropical lemongrass with a strong lemon scent is often used in Thai cuisine and Indian cuisine. There, like chives and parsley, it is used as a spice in many dishes, baked or cooked as a vegetable, with meat dishes or rice dishes.

Lemongrass essential oil is very similar to lemongrass essential oil, you won't notice any difference, except that lemongrass oil is much more expensive than lemongrass oil. This is because lemongrass contains more oil.
