Hop tincture


2 teaspoons hops or 1/2 teaspoon lupulin (Lupulin are the glands of the female hop plant. The hop umbels contain countless small, yellowish globules, lupulin.)

100 ml high-proof grain schnapps


fine sieve, linen cloth or filter

Brown glass bottle


Put the hops or lupulin in a glass and pour high-proof grain schnapps over it. Then leave it in the warmth for 10 days and move it occasionally. After the specified time, it is strained through a fine sieve, linen cloth or filter and bottled into brown glass bottles. Don’t forget to label it with your name and date.


Take a teaspoon of the hop tincture before going to bed.
