Ingredients:
200 g dried or 400 g fresh ginkgo leaves
1/4 liter liquid:
high proof fruit brandy or grain schnapps
Water
Glass with lid
Linen cloth or coffee filter
Brown glass bottle
Preparation:
The liquid should consist of 4 parts high-proof alcohol and 1 part water or low-proof fruit alcohol (4:1).
Put the dried ginkgo leaves in a glass and pour over the liquid 4:1. Close the container tightly and leave it in a cool, dark place (basement, pantry, fruit compartment in the refrigerator) for 2 weeks. Shake every now and then.
After 14 days, the liquid can be strained through a linen cloth or coffee filter. Then fill it into an brown glass bottle and label it with the date and name.
Application:
The normal dose of ginkgo tincture is 1 teaspoon 3 times daily for adults, and 1 teaspoon up to 6 times daily for acute conditions.
