FIG jam


1/2 kg figs (peeled and chopped)

1/2 liter grape juice

Jarling sugar 1:1

1 tarragon stalk


Screw jars


In a pot, mix the figs with the grape juice and bring to the boil. Then mix with jamming sugar or use any gelling aid with 1 kg of sugar, stir in and let the jam boil for about 4 minutes.

Pluck the leaves from the tarragon stalk, wash them and add them to the hot jam, stir everything well. Now pour into clean screw-top jars and close with the lid. Turn the jars upside down and turn the jars a few times while they cool so that the figs are well distributed. Then just add your name (fig jam) and date.
