Fennel vinegar


3/4 liter white wine vinegar

1/4 liter of white wine

2 tablespoons fennel herb or fennel bulb

some dill tips

fine sieve, linen cloth or filter



Put the white wine vinegar, the white wine, the fennel herb and a few dill tips in a pot and bring to the boil. Stir every now and then. Then remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down. Then put everything in a jar, close it and leave it at room temperature for 1 week. When the time is over, it can be strained through a fine sieve, linen cloth or filter and poured into bottles.

If you want to give the fennel vinegar as a gift, pour it into a carafe, add a few fennel leaves and make a pretty bow around it.
