Eucalyptus balm

It is similar to tiger balm, which comes from Asia, and is suitable for external use for headaches and colds.


Eucalyptus balm

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon beeswax

2 teaspoons clarified butter

2 teaspoons sunflower oil

40 drops of eucalyptus essential oil

5 drops of rosemary essential oil

5 drops of peppermint essential oil

5 drops of clove essential oil


Pot

Ointment jar or similar


Preparation:

Put the beeswax, clarified butter and sunflower oil in a pot and heat carefully until melted. Remove the slightly warm mixture from the heat and stir in the essential oils eucalyptus oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil and clove oil.


If you own a eucalyptus bush, you can use the plant sap instead of the essential oil. To do this, put the leaves in a blender and chop them up, then press them through a cloth. Add 1/2 teaspoon of lanolin, which only dissolves when the mixture is still warm enough.


Application:

The eucalyptus balm for external use on the chest and temples.


Can help/Helps with:

Headache (rub on the temples)

Colds (rub on the chest and neck)
