500 g carrots

Preparation:
The elderberries are placed in a pot with the water and brought to the boil for 5 minutes and then pureed with the hand blender. Then clean the carrots, cut them into small pieces and steam them with a little water. The carrots are then pureed with the hand blender. Now put the elderberry puree and the carrot puree in a bowl, stir everything well and weigh it with the kitchen scales. Attention!, we only need the weight of the mass, the bowl has to be taken out (tare).
After we have weighed the mass, we need half the weight of sugar, for example if the mass is 200 g, then we need 100 g of sugar. Now put the mixture with the sugar in a pot and bring to the boil again, stir everything well and then the elderberry carrot jam can be filled into jam jars.
