To find:

The currant is only very rarely found as a wild plant; it is already on the “Red List”. Otherwise it can be found in gardens.

Tannins, plant acid, flavonoids, essential oil, sugar, calcium, iron, carotene, vitamin B1, B2, C


Other:

☕ Tea: Pour 1/4 liter of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of currant leaves, let steep for 10 minutes, drink 3 cups daily.


With 170 mg of vitamin C in 100 g, the currant has one of the highest values of local plants and is one of our healthiest berries.


In natural cosmetics, a mild antiperspirant can be made from the alcoholic extract from the leaves.
