Creamed mushrooms with lovage aroma


500 g fresh mushrooms

2 onions

40 g butter

50 ml white wine

200 ml cream

1 small stalk of lovage

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

1 tablespoon freshly chopped lemon balm




Clean and quarter the mushrooms. Peel the onion and then dice finely.

Melt the butter in a pan and then sauté the onions until translucent. Now add the mushrooms and sauté for about 4 minutes. Then deglaze with the white wine and let the liquid boil down a little.

Now add the cream, lovage, parsley and lemon balm and bring everything to the boil briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the lovage and arrange the mushrooms on plates, for example with bread dumplings. The cream mushrooms with lovage aroma are ready.
