Ingredients:
1 tablespoon crushed cowslip root from the pharmacy or online
a little water
Honey
Pot
fine sieve
Jar with lid
Preparation:
Place the chopped cowslip root in a pot and add a little water. Then cook for about 5 minutes and then strain through a fine sieve. The collected liquid is now mixed with honey until a thick syrup is formed. This last step can be done in a jar, finally put the lid on and label it with the name (Cowslip syrup) and date.
Application:
The syrup is taken in teaspoons.
