Ingredients:
30 g crushed butcher's broom root
150 ml distilled water
2 teaspoons of lanolin
4 g beeswax
35 ml grape seed oil
Pots
fine sieve
Thermometer
Ointment jar
Preparation:
Bring the crushed butcher's broom root to the boil in a pot with the distilled water. Then let stand for 10 minutes. Then filter through a fine sieve.
Melt the lanolin and beeswax in a water bath and stir constantly until everything is liquid. Now stir the grape seed oil into the mixture and then the herbal extract. Danger! Measure the temperature with the thermometer! The oil extract and root decoction must be around 68 to 70 degrees so that they combine properly. Then remove the pot from the heat, pour it into the ointment jar and continue stirring until the mixture has cooled, then you have a smooth cream.
