Couch grass can be found everywhere. In every garden, park, on meadows, embankments, in the undergrowth, bushes and field edges.

☕ Tea: Pour 1/4 liter of boiling water over 4 teaspoons of roots (or keep it cold and let it stand for a few hours). Let it set for 10 minutes. Drink up to 4 cups daily as a cure.
The couch grass can grow up to 90 cm high and belongs to the sweet grass family. The creeping tubular root is elongated while the leaves are slender. Each short stem produces five to seven leaves and possibly a flower spike at the end. Each flower spike consists of egg-shaped spikes less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) long. The flowers appear in late June to August. The seed heads look like a stalk of grain. The roots are elongated, thin, tubular and whitish in color with yellow ends. The creeping couch grass grows aggressively and is able to displace crops.
The couch grass root can be used in the same way as the horsetail.
