Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)

Grows on roadsides, fields, field edges and embankments.


Ingredients:

Chamazulene, essential oil, bisabolol, flavonoids, oxycoumarins, bitter substances, mucilage, magnesium


Miscellaneous:

☕ Tea: Pour 1/4 liter of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of chamomile flowers and let it steep for 10 minutes. 2 cups per day are enough.


Chamomile has daisy-like flowers with a hollow, cone-shaped flower base. Its yellow cone is surrounded by 10 to 20 downward-curving white petals. Chamomile has a slightly fruity scent. The leaves of true chamomile are very thin and hairy and bipinnate. Each sheet can be divided into smaller sheet sections. The stems are somewhat pinnate and it grows to a height of between 60 and 90 cm.


Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) has a calming and strengthening effect after serious illnesses.


🛑 If you like some composite plants, such as: If you are allergic to mugwort, yarrow, marigold, arnica, etc., you should try chamomile tea in small quantities first!!!


Chamomile is a magnesium plant, i.e. an introductory plant.


Hildegard von Bingen: Take Metra, crush it into juice, add some cow butter and apply strong ointment where it hurts and it will be healed.


 

Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile)



This chamomile originally comes from North Africa. You can use it for hair conditioners and to lighten hair. It is used as a tea for chronic inflammation of the stomach lining and for upset stomachs. The tea can be used in the form of compresses or rinses for skin diseases, inflammation of the mucous membranes and fungal diseases or irritations in the sexual area.


As with real chamomile, a break should be taken after 3 weeks.
