Ingredients:
500g butter
250 g sifted powdered sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
600g flour
2 tablespoons milk

Preparation:
Melt the butter in a saucepan, do not boil. Place the flour, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, milk and melted butter in a mixing bowl and knead until smooth using a hand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Now chill in the fridge overnight or for at least 3 to 4 hours.
After the time has elapsed, take the dough out of the refrigerator again and gradually roll out the dough on a floured surface using a rolling pin. Then cut out the dough with the cookie cutters and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake the cookies in the oven at approx. 180 degrees Celsius for about 8 minutes. So that they are slightly brown. After cooling, the butter cookies can be decorated with chocolate, icing or the like as desired.
