☕ Tea: 1 cup = 100 g of barley grains soak in 1 1/2 liters of water overnight. The next morning, bring to the boil and let it simmer gently for about 1 hour. Strain the barley water and drink throughout the day.

Barley is found everywhere in over 40 species, but has lost its importance worldwide to wheat, rice and corn. Bread is baked from barley; the “barleys” are used there. from it, malting barley is part of beer production, malt and malt coffee are made from it. One of the most famous whiskeys is also distilled from barley. The rest of the production ends up in animal feed.

The nutritional supplement barley powder has become established; fresh, green barley grass is cut into small pieces, freeze-dried and filled into capsules for a better supply of chlorophyll.
