Berberine, essential oil, fruit acid, gum, vitamin C, dextrose, lavulose, alkaloids, wax


Other:

🛑 Attention: In contrast to the fruits, barberry root, bark, wood and leaves contain the alkaloid berberine, which is toxic in large quantities. You should exercise caution when dosing! Overdose may result in vomiting, diarrhea and cramps.


A strong yellow dye can be obtained from the roots and wood of the barberry. You can use it to dye fabrics and even leather yellow.
