Artichoke tincture

Ingredients:

Artichoke with leaves and stems

1 part (for example 500 ml) of water

1 part (500 ml) fruit schnapps or grain


Pot

Screw glass

Filters

Brown glass bottles


Preparation:

Remove the stem and leaves and place in a pot with 1 part water. Cut the rest of the artichoke into small pieces and add it to the pot. Then bring the whole thing to the boil and after 20 minutes of brewing (like a strong tea), filter the artichoke through a filter.


Now the artichoke water is mixed with the same amount of fruit liquor or grain, stirred well and poured into brown glass bottles. It should be left to stand for another 14 days before the tincture can be used. Don’t forget to label it with your name and date.

The artichoke tincture is intended to be taken internally. Drop by drop
