Ingredients:
1 part dried witch hazel bark
5 parts high-proof alcohol (60%)
screw-top jar
filter
Brown glass bottle with dropper
Preparation:
Place the dried, chopped witch hazel bark in a screw-top jar and pour the high-proof alcohol over it. Now let it stand for 2 weeks, moving it occasionally.
After the 14 days of steeping, the bark is pressed out and filtered. Then pour into an brown glass bottle with a dropper and label with the date and name.
Application:
Use the witch hazel tincture drop by drop and diluted.

For a tincture with leaves, it is prepared in the same way and extracted with 40 percent alcohol.
