Pine needle jelly

Ingredients:

1 liter of water

Fir shoots

800g sugar

pots

Linen cloth

glasses

Preparation:

Put 1 liter of water and as many pine shoots as the water can hold in a pot. Now this is cooked until the shoots are completely soft. Then remove the pot from the heat and strain the liquid through a linen towel.

Now the liquid with the sugar is heated again and cooked over a low heat until the juice turns reddish and becomes thick. Stir occasionally so that the sugar can dissolve. Then remove the pot from the heat again and pour the jelly into jars. Close the jars and label them with your name (pine needle jelly) and date.
