☕ Tea: 1 teaspoon of root and herb are added to 1/4 liter of cold water, heated to boiling and drunk after steeping for 10 minutes. 2 cups a day are sufficient.

In the kitchen, alpine lovage is used in the same way as parsley; it is a seasoning for cream cheese and other cheese preparations. An extract from the root is contained in many traditional mountain herbal liqueurs and gives them a special taste.
