Aloe green tea facial toner

Aloe Vera

100 ml water

1 tsp green tea

1 pinch of allantoin

50 drops of aloe vera concentrate

1 tbsp D-panthenol

Bring the water to the boil, then let it cool for five minutes. Then pour it over the green tea, let it steep for another five minutes and then strain through a sieve or linen cloth. Stir the allantoin into the still hot tea. Then add the aloe vera concentrate and the D-panthenol and mix everything together well.

This refreshing facial toner prepares the facial skin for the subsequent cream treatment after morning and evening cleansing. It will keep in the fridge for about 3 to 4 weeks.

Term explanation:

Allantoin is a product of protein metabolism that occurs in the urine of mammals and in many plants (horse chestnut bark, comfrey and salsify, maple, wheat germ, etc.). The white, odorless substance is water and fat soluble. Allantoin has a soothing and nourishing effect on the skin.

Aloe vera concentrate:

The moisturizing Aloe Vera 10-fold concentrate is the 10-fold concentrated aqueous direct extract from the leaves of the Aloe Vera.

Dexpanthenol (also known as pantothenol, D-panthenol, provitamin B5 or simply panthenol) is a chemical compound that is one of the polyols and amides. The compound has long been used medicinally as an active ingredient in the topical (tropical) treatment of diseases of the skin and mucous membranes and cosmetically in medical skin care, as well as administered intravenously to promote intestinal activity.

All three products can be purchased in the pharmacy, online or from Rossmann, DM, etc.
